Max Allegri has revealed he turned down the advances of Real Madrid for the chance to manage his beloved Juventus again.
Allegri was officially unveiled as Juventus' new manager on Tuesday afternoon at a press conference, with the Italian having returned to Turin for a second stint following the sacking of Andrea Pirlo at the end of last season.
Allegri parted ways with Juventus in May 2019 after sealing five consecutive Serie A titles for the Italian giants between 2015 and 2019, while also guiding the club to two Champions League finals.

Allegri bided his time before stepping back into management following his initial six-year spell at Juventus, and after attracting heavy interest from the Premier League - including Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea - and Real Madrid in LaLiga, he is now back in the Juventus hotseat.
