Queens Park Rangers striker and talkSPORT pundit Charlie Austin has insisted Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the weak link in Manchester United's defence and they must replace him with Kieran Trippier this summer.

Wan-Bissaka has been a regular on the right side of United's defence ever since he moved to Old Trafford for around £45million from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019.

He has largely impressed in his two seasons at the club, winning plaudits for his 1v1 defensive ability and athleticism to get up and down the pitch.

However Austin, who played against Wan-Bissaka in QPR's 4-2 friendly win over United earlier this month, has told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that the 23-year-old is a defensive liability and must be replaced.

The striker, who has also played for Southampton, Burnley and West Brom during his career, also insists England star Trippier should be the man to replace him this summer.
