Max Verstappen has doubled down on his criticism of Lewis Hamilton as the world championship leader maintained that his Mercedes rival was 'disrespectful' for celebrating while he was in hospital.
Hamilton, 36, clinched a much-needed win at the British Grand Prix earlier this month to close the gap on his Red Bull rival by eight points heading into this weekend's race in Hungary.
However, Hamilton was embroiled in controversy when his car made contact with Verstappen's on the opening lap of the race, sending the 23-year-old crunching into the crash barriers at a force of 51G.
