Two unfortunate cleaners almost found themselves clattered into during Japan and Slovenia's basketball match at the Tokyo Olympics.
Temperatures were high during the preliminary group game at the Saitama Super Arena, meaning the court's maintenance staff were kept busy with their mops.
However, in truly bizarre fashion, the two men poorly timed their dash forwards, and they were forced to scamper back at speed with Slovenia on the attack.

Two cleaners were forced to race back off the court during Japan and Slovenia's group match
Both men timed their dash poorly and were made to move back when Slovenia came forward
Luckily for them, their untimely presence didn't put off the Group C leaders from notching more points on the board in their comprehensive 116-81 victory.
As the action unfolded just a matter of feet in front of them after their hasty retreat, the cleaners briefly looked confused before then preparing to head back out.
It is their job to keep surface water off the court, including sweat in the sweltering conditions, and they looked to have done just that during Slovenia's demolition job.
