British sprinter Zharnel Hughes will compete for an Olympic gold medal after qualifying for the mens' 100m final by winning Sunday's semi-final but fellow Team GB hopefuls Reece Prescod and Chijindu Ujah missed out.
European champion Hughes won the semi-final with a time of 9.98 seconds, his fastest time of the season and his first sub-10 time of the year.
