OUR FANTASTIC MIX
What a top drawer, diverse bunch of commentators we have got here for this Test. There’s Mel Jones from Australia, Dinesh Karthik from India, Michael Holding of the West Indies and Kumar Sangakkara from Sri Lanka. Together with a few locals, including Sir Andrew Strauss. It doesn’t get more multi-cultural than that and I think it’s fabulous.

The performance of India’s openers on the first evening and Wednesday morning was calmness personified. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul stood there properly, picked the bat up properly and addressed the ball properly.
