The midfielder has made a big impact himself since arriving in January 2020 has yet to win a trophy since his arrival at the club. United have in fact not won a trophy since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho back in December 18. Bruno Fernandes believes Cristiano Ronaldo's return will boost Man United's trophy hopes Fernandes though is aware of what Ronaldo can bring to Old Trafford and is confident about their chances of success. 'Everyone is very confident and happy that he is back, the players too. Fernandes and United fell short in the Europa League final to Villarreal earlier this year 'We know what he can give us, and our focus, like Cristiano’s, is to win. Ronaldo's arrival came after it had looked like the United legend might be on for a shock move to their local rivals Manchester City.
