Trevor Sinclair insists Jesse Lingard is 'not as ambitious as I'd like him to be' after reportedly turning down a return to West Ham before allegedly rejecting a new deal at Manchester United.
The 28-year-old excelled at the London Stadium after joining on loan for the second half of last season, scoring nine Premier League goals for David Moyes' side and playing a pivotal role in helping them qualify for the Europa League.
His form saw him picked for England's provisional 33-man squad for Euro 2020 this summer, although he was later cut from the final 26-man squad named by Gareth Southgate.
