Emma Raducanu is on the brink of Grand Slam glory at just 18-years-old, with only Leylah Fernandez left standing between the British teen and the US Open title.

The debutant is the first qualifier ever to reach the final in New York, having played nine matches without dropping a set on her blazing journey to worldwide stardom.

Thanks to Fernandez there have been teen stars on either side of the draw pumping life back into women's tennis. The Canadian hasn't brushed-off her opponents in the ruthless ease of Raducanu, but has instead been the tournament's giant-killer.

World No.3 Naomi Osaka, the defending champion, was seen-off in the third round before triple Slam winner Angelique Kerber and No 5-ranked Elina Svitolina followed.

Fernandez was as obscure a name as Raducanu at the start of this season, but she has been catapulted to the big-time and to the brink of her first Slam too.

With the highly-anticipated match-up swiftly approaching, Sportsmail takes you through everything you need to know.
