Tyson Fury's father, John, has predicted that his son will force Deontay Wilder into retirement when the two heavyweight titans clash next month in Las Vegas.

Fury will look to defend his WBC strap on October 9 during the two rivals' trilogy bout, having recorded a technical knockout victory in February 2020.

And Fury senior is bullish about the Gypsy King's chances against Wilder, predicting there will be 'blood and injuries' and labelling the American a 'one-trick pony'.

'Tyson will send him into retirement this time,' he said on "BT Sport's The Heavyweight Debate. 'He'll never box after this, he's going to get beat to pieces, smashed to pieces.
