David Beckham wants to get involved in next year's maiden Miami Grand Prix and could be one of many star names in attendance, according to the race's managing partner.
Formula One struck a ten-year deal to stage the race on the south east coast, with the first taking place in 2022 in Miami Gardens, with a pupose-built track set to be built near the Hard Rock Stadium - home to NFL franchise Miami Dolphins.
Tom Garfinkel, who is heading up next year's race - and is also CEO of the Dolphins - revealed he had dinner with Beckham to gauge his interest in the race and said the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy star was 'very keen' on attending.
