Boxing champion Tyson Fury's brother Shane has been condemned for launching vile anti-Semitic abuse at the weigh-in before his title fight with Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.
Shane, 30, who was a prominent member of his brother's ringside team at the fight, was captured in footage on YouTube shouting the slur at a member of Wilder's camp in the moments following the typically chaotic weigh-in.
It is believed Shane Fury was addressing Wilder's 77-year-old manager Shelly Finkel by shouting 'You Jewish piece of s***' at him moments before the Fury team were hustled from the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Fury, the so-called Gypsy King, 33, has himself been criticised for anti-Semitism in the past and was forced to apologise.
Leading anti-Semitism campaigner Jonathan Sacerdoti condemned the remark as 'shameful' and called on YouTube to remove the clip.
'Trash talk may well be a traditional part of promoting a big fight, but the line must be drawn at racial or religious abuse,' he said.
'Calling someone a "Jewish piece of s***" is clearly totally unacceptable. Trash talking is a part of the theatre of a fight like this, and is usually aimed at generating pay-per-view sales to maximise financial gain. Using racial and religious slurs to bring in money is reprehensible.
'Tyson Fury has a record of anti-Jewish abuse, having previously shared video of himself online accusing Jewish people of controlling banks, media and TV.
