Ruben Neves says that 'there is no proof' that the Covid-19 vaccine is bad as the Wolves star insisted his team-mates are fully vaccinated 'to help us have a normal life'.

The Premier League is facing a jab crisis with Sportsmail revealing that two-thirds of stars are yet to take their dosage, with senior players polluting dressing rooms with anti-vaxx theories about Bill Gates, infertility and the power of vitamins. 

Wolves have led the way on vaccinations in the top flight, with the entire first team bubble — players, coaches and support staff — fully vaccinated. 

Former boss Nuno Espirito Santo and club doctor Matt Perry are understood to have played an integral role in gaining the trust of the players in the vaccine. 

And Portugal international Neves, 24, says that the desire to get back to 'normal' and the overwhelming evidence that the vaccine is good for you were key factors in the squad's decision to get jabbed.
