Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be on the sideline for Sunday's road game against the Cleveland Browns. Quarterbacks coach Cam Turner and defensive lineman Zach Allen will also miss Sunday's game after testing positive for COVID-19, according to the team's website

Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers will split head coaching duties for Sunday's game. Joseph has prior head coaching experience after serving in that role in Denver during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

The Cardinals are also awaiting word on the status of star pass rusher Chandler Jones, who tested positive earlier this week. The Cardinals enter Sunday's game as the NFL's last undefeated team. The 5-0 Cardinals boast the NFL's fourth-ranked scoring offense and sixth-ranked scoring defense. Arizona's offense has been bolstered by quarterback Kyler Murray, who has completed over 75 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions through five games. The Cardinals' defense has been led by Chandler Jones and cornerback Byron Murphy. Jones has five sacks thus far, while Jones has three interceptions with six pass breakups.

In his third season in Arizona, Kingsbury has compiled an 18-18-1 record with the Cardinals. Arizona went 5-10-1 during his first season before posting an even 8-8 record in 2020. The Cardinals in in pursuit of their first playoff berth since 2015, when they advanced to the NFC Championship Game for the second time in franchise history.
