The Cleveland Browns not only suffered their third loss of the season on Sunday against the Cardinals, but they left Week 6 with a number of players banged up. That includes running back Kareem Hunt, who is now expected to miss several weeks due to a calf injury he suffered in the contest, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Head coach Kevin Stefanski did describe Hunt's injury as significant and Rapoport adds that he is likely going to head to injured reserve, which means he'll miss at least three weeks.

Hunt, who finished with 66 yards rushing and 12 yards receiving on three catches, suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. The veteran back was in to block, but then leaked out to go out for a pass, but fell to the ground in the process. Hunt needed assistance getting off the field and couldn't put any pressure on his leg. After being looked at in the blue medical tent, he was carted off to the locker room.

This injury to Hunt only adds to the Browns banged-up backfield as the team was already without Nick Chubb (calf) for Week 6. Stefanski said he is "not ruling out" Chubb to play in Week 7 and added that "he's progressing." However, the Browns are in the midst of a short week as they are turning right around and gearing up to host the Broncos for "Thursday Night Football." Because it is such a quick turnaround, that could have an even bigger impact on Chubb's chances of playing.

Along with those two injuries, quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a left shoulder injury that found him in a sling following the game. He said after the game that he plans to try and play through the injury.
