The Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) will hit the road for the fourth time this season this in Week 7 and will take on the Las Vegas Raiders (4-2) at Allegiant Stadium. Jalen Hurts gave his team a shot by running for two scores against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 but struggled in the passing game. Can he rally against a Raiders team that thrived against the Denver Broncos after Jon Gruden's resignation? Or will the Raiders continue their push towards a spot in the NFL playoff picture for the first time since 2016?

Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET. Las Vegas is favored by three points in the latest Eagles vs. Raiders odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is 48.5. Why the Eagles can cover

The Eagles have been fairly successful against the spread this year. They're 3-3 against the spread overall and 2-1 against the spread on the road. The Raiders are 2-1 straight-up at home, but they're 1-2 against the spread at Allegiant Stadium.

Hurts' legs have kept the Eagles in most of their games this year, but his passing has been wildly inconsistent. Injuries have ravaged Las Vegas on both sides of the ball in recent weeks. Its banged-up secondary gave up a season-high 334 passing yards to Teddy Bridgewater last week. Wide receivers Bryan Edwards and Henry Ruggs are also dealing with injuries, and Philadelphia's sturdy pass defense could get a break if either receiver is limited.

Why the Raiders can cover

The Raiders have the same 3-3 record against the spread as the Eagles. While some thought Las Vegas would take a hit after Gruden's resignation, the Raiders ended up putting together one of their best performances of the year against the Broncos in Week 6, scoring a season-high 34 points on the road against the NFL's fourth-ranked scoring defense.

The Eagles have faced four teams that are at least .500 ahead of Week 7 and have been outscored by a total of 35 points in those matchups. Philadelphia fell short by six points or more in three of those contests. The Raiders are 2-1 straight-up at home and have won their games by an average of seven points. While the Eagles' pass defense has been strong this year, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has powered one of the NFL's most prolific passing attacks this year. He's averaging 342 passing yards per game at Allegiant Stadium.

How to make Eagles vs. Raiders picks

SportsLine's model is leaning over on the point total, projecting the teams to combine for 49 points. The model also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations. You can only see the model's Raiders vs. Eagles picks at SportsLine.
