Green Bay had a touchdown and change to spare in a 24-14 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Green Bay's QB Aaron Rodgers did his thing and passed for two TDs and 195 yards on 23 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown.
Green Bay's defense was a presence as well, as it got past Chicago's offensive line to sack QB Justin Fields four times for a total loss of 37 yards. Leading the way was NT Kenny Clark and his two sacks. Those were the first sacks for Clark through six games.
Meanwhile, the game between Washington and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday was not particularly close, with Washington falling 31-13. QB Taylor Heinicke had a pretty forgettable game, throwing one interception with only 4.67 yards per passing attempt.
Green Bay's victory brought them up to 5-1 while Washington's loss pulled them down to 2-4. Two defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Green Bay enters the contest with only 223.5 passing yards allowed per game on average, good for fourth best in the NFL. Less enviably, Washington is stumbling into the matchup with the most passing touchdowns allowed in the league, having given up 16 on the season.
