NFL player props, odds, expert picks for Week 7, 2021: Lamar Jackson goes over 230.5 passing yards for Ravens

There are dozens of NFL prop bets available on each game this week. The Cardinals will try to move to 7-0 when they host the Houston Texans (1-5) in one of the 11 NFL matchups on the Sunday slate. On the flip side, the Lions will try to break their 0-6 slide when they face the Los Angeles Rams (5-1) on the road. The only matchup this week between teams with winning records is the Cincinnati Bengals (5-1) visiting the Baltimore Ravens (4-2), but which players should you back with your NFL prop bets?

Caesars Sportsbook favors Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow to go over 1.5 touchdown passes (-140) and Baltimore's Lamar Jackson to go Under that number (-130) in its latest Week 7 NFL player props. Before you make any 2021 NFL Week 7 prop bets, you need to see the top NFL picks and predictions from NFL props expert Alex Selesnick.

Over the past two seasons, Selesnick (aka PropStarz) is up 122 units on NFL props and futures plays. For a $100 bettor, that's a return of more than $12,000 return. PropStarz specializes in NFL and NBA prop betting, where he implements a combination of research, statistical analysis and mathematical modeling. His background playing competitive poker, Scrabble and backgammon helped form the foundation of his sports betting approach.

Through six weeks, PropStarz is an eye-popping 20-10 on his picks for SportsLine, and he cashed in easily on four of his five picks last week. One of those was Bears quarterback Justin Fields going Over the 14.5 rushing yards (-115) listed at Caesars Sportsbook, even though the rookie had just 25 over his first three starts.

"Fields is capable of picking this up on just one rushing attempt," PropStarz told SportsLine before the Bears hosted the Packers. The expert was hoping Chicago coach Matt Nagy would start playing to the rookies' strengths. But he said "even if Nagy doesn't turn Fields loose, I still like his chances to potentially break off a nice gain after the pocket collapses."

Of course, that's exactly what happened, and Fields broke off runs of 14 and 16 yards as he scrambled away from the Green Bay pass rush. He finished the game with six carries for 43 yards, and PropStarz and anyone who followed him cashed that bet.

Now, after sifting through hundreds of available Week 7 NFL prop bets, PropStarz has found five more picks he loves. He's only sharing his coveted NFL prop picks at SportsLine

Top 2021 Week 7 NFL prop picks

One Week 7 NFL prop bet PropStarz is backing: Lamar Jackson will go Over 230.5 passing yards. The former league MVP has dangerous weapons at his disposal, and Baltimore has had to rely on the pass all season. Wideout Marquise Brown has 486 yards (15.2 per catch) and five touchdowns, while tight end Mark Andrews has 468 and three scores. Rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman also joined the mix last week, and Jackson should be looking downfield often.

Baltimore's three best running backs are on IR and Latavius Murray is out this week. That leaves Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell as the only options, and both have seen much better days. PropStarz questions why there isn't more talk of Jackson's evolution as a passer. "We all know about his legs, but he has made a huge leap as a passer," the props guru told SportsLine. Jackson is averaging 281 passing yards per game, and PropStarz projects him for 275 in Week 7. He expects this one to be easy money.
