Conor McGregor has waded into the debate over whether Manchester United should sack manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, insisting his role needs to be 'rearranged' as he faces growing pressure after his side's poor start to the season.
Despite the axe seemingly looming yesterday in the wake of the chastening 5-0 defeat by fierce rivals Liverpool, Solskjaer appears to have been handed a stay of execution and is expected to take charge against Tottenham.
The club's stance has led to supporters arguing over the merits of keeping their legendary former player at the helm, and McGregor has now joined in.

Taking to Twitter to share his opinion, the UFC superstar wrote: 'The issue at United is it’s just bunch of young fellas talking to each other. Peers.
'You need some one above the group chat to take the helm. Ole was on the bench when [Cristiano] Ronaldo played. A peer. Not enough. Love and respect Ole to the max but his role needs rearranged (sic). My opinion.'
Alluding to the fact that Solskjaer and his talisman Ronaldo played together during their respective spells at United, McGregor appears to be urging the club he follows to be cutthroat and hire a new manager, one with a fresh mindset.
