Allen Lazard is the latest member of the Packers to feel the wrath of the club's COVID-19 outbreak. On Tuesday, the team announced that the veteran receiver was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, joining fellow pass-catcher Davante Adams, who was placed on the reserve list on Monday. With Green Bay set to take on the Arizona Cardinals to open up Week 8 on Thursday, their statuses are now in serious question.

Per the NFL, vaccinated players who are asymptomatic may return once they return two negative tests taken 24 hours apart. If they are showing symptoms while vaccinated, they need to return two negative tests and show no symptoms for 48 hours. If a player is unvaccinated, they must isolate for 10 days.

This all comes as the Packers were in advanced COVID-19 protocols due to the potential spread of the virus by defensive coordinator Joe Barry testing positive. All team meetings have been virtual and players are wearing masks.

Of course, if the Packers are down both Lazard and Adams, that would be a massive blow to the offense as they are the top-two most targeted wide receivers on the roster. Lazard specifically is coming off his best game of the season as he caught five of his season-high six targets for 60 yards and a touchdown against Washington in Week 7.

Randall Cobb, Amari Rodgers and Equanimeous St. Brown are the remaining receivers on the Green Bay roster. However, Marquez Valdes-Scantling may come off injured reserve this week, per coach Matt LaFleur.
