Derby’ prospective new owner Chris Kirchner is set to attend the Rams’ home game against Blackburn on Saturday as he aims to buy the club.

Kirchner, a US businessman, has held discussions with the club’s administrators and met manager Wayne Rooney at last week’s meeting with Luton at Pride Park, with the asking price for Derby about £50million.
