When the New York Jets take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium on Thursday night, they'll be wearing a uniform combination that the team has never worn before and that combination will feature a white jersey with black pants.
The Jets have worn white jerseys before and they've worn black pants before, but they've never worn the two together.

The Jets unveiled new uniforms back in 2019 and since then, they've worn five different combinations ranging from all-green to all-white to all-black. They've also combined their white jerseys with their green pants for a fourth combination. The fifth combination that they've worn was their green jerseys with their white pants.

The white-on-black combination will be the sixth combo that the team has worn over the past two years, and apparently, they decided to go with this new look for Thursday's game because fans were calling for it.
Personally, I probably would have gone with all-white as a way to honor new Jets starting quarterback Mike White, who led the team to an upset win over the Bengals in Week 8. White will be looking to engineer another upset on Thursday night against the Colts in a game where the Jets are a 10-point underdog.
