Premier League clubs have rejected plans to wear away kits at home matches to raise awareness and funds for the homeless.
As MailOnline revealed, Shelter asked those hosting matches on December 26 and 27 to don their change strips as part of a wide-scale campaign to raise awareness and funds for what is a rapidly increasing problem.
The idea received support from some, who approached the top flight to ask for permission, but saw their requests rejected.
