Indianapolis Colts (4-5) quarterback Carson Wentz made headlines this week when he told his wife he'll suit up against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) rather than being at the hospital for the birth of their second child. After the Jaguars shocked the NFL last week with a 9-6 upset win over the Buffalo Bills, the Jaguars don't look like the pushover their record suggests they are. Jacksonville's lone win last season came in Week 1 against the Colts before it went on to lose its next 20 games. In select markets, you can stream Jaguars vs. Colts on Paramount+.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET Nov. 14 at Lucas Oil Stadium, where Indy has won four of its last five meetings against Jacksonville. Indianapolis is favored by 10 points in the latest Colts vs. Jaguars odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the over-under is 47.5. In select markets, Sunday's matchup can be seen live on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Before entering any Jaguars vs. Colts picks, you'll want to see the NFL predictions from the advanced computer model at SportsLine. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,600 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 10 of the 2021 season on an incredible 128-88 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Colts vs. Jaguars, the model is picking Indianapolis to cover the 10-point spread in well over 50 percent of simulations. The Jaguars could be without their best offensive player, running back James Robinson, for a second consecutive week with a heel injury. Last week against the Bills, Carlos Hyde was the primary running back, and it took him 21 carries to muster 67 yards with a lost fumble. The Colts have kept opposing running backs to under 3.9 yards per carry this season and are tied with four other teams for the fewest rushing touchdowns allowed this season with two.

The Colts are coming off of a 45-30 win against the New York Jets 10 days ago and should have benefited from the extra time to prepare. Jacksonville's weakness defensively is defending the pass, and Indy's Michael Pittman Jr. has stepped forward this season as the Colts' most dynamic pass-catcher. Over his last three games, he has 19 catches for 255 yards and four touchdowns.

The Colts' pass defense has been soft this season as well, but the Jaguars have wide receiver issues. D.J. Chark was lost for the season a few weeks ago, Marvin Jones Jr. only has 56 receiving yards over his last two games, and the team has failed to get Laviska Shenault Jr. involved in a role that takes advantage of his skill set.
