Former Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo will show the strain of a disastrous season in charge of the Italian giants in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary later this month

"All or Nothing: Juventus will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video featuring Juve's  catastrophic campaign during the 2020-21 season.

It will reveal Pirlo and senior members of his squad berating players in the dressing room during a string of poor performances, while Cristiano Ronaldo cuts a cool figure - and just keeps on scoring.

In a trailer released today, Ronaldo, who moved back to Manchester United in the summer, insists one player cannot deliver success.

'This is a collective game,' says the striker, who scored 36 goals in 44 appearances for Juve last season. 'Nobody in the world, alone, can make a difference.'

The series promises to be another gripping insight into the inner workings of a top club, with the tension etched onto the faces of Pirlo, club chairman Andrea Agnelli and the players as results begin to turn against Juve.

Juve failed to make it 10 Serie A titles in a row, finishing 13 points behind Inter Milan and only just scrambling a Champions League spot on the final day of the season, which led to rookie manager and club legend Pirlo being sacked.

Juventus did manage to win the Coppa Italia last term, bringing both joy and relief, but it could not deflect from the their struggles in Serie A.

In an extremely disappointing campaign Juve suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Fiorentina in December, they lost to title rivals Inter 2-0 in January, even worse they lost 3-0 to AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium in May, and along the way they even lost 1-0 at home to minnows Benevento.

The strain is obvious to see on Pirlo and his players. In one scene, the manager addresses the dejected team, who are slumped in the dressing room.

'Let's show some balls!' he implores them

The players' frustration is evident, too. 'This way, we won't win s***!' a senior member of the squad screams at his team-mates after a particularly weak performance.

The trailer shows the players at home with their families and leaves little doubt of their desire to turn around a season that is spinning out of control.

In additional footage seen by Sportsmail that will feature in the series, which will be streamed on Prime Video from November 25, Ronaldo is seen as a super-cool member of a panicked squad.

'The ambition is always the same,' Ronaldo, who signed from Real Madrid for £85million in July 2018, calmly declares to the camera at Juve's training ground. 'It's to win and play good. The rest doesn't matter.'

WHY DID JUVE AGREE TO MAKE THE FILM?

All Or Nothing: Juventus aims to demonstrate the passion and perseverance of those representing the iconic club, as well as tell the story of a traumatic season, according to the film-makers.

Produced by Fulwell 73, the company behind 'I Am Bolt' and 'Sunderland 'Til I Die', the series joins another 13 documentaries made under the All or Nothing brand.

'The docu-series will focus on the unique aspects of the Club Bianconero ['white and black'] and of its identity; deeply-rooted in Italian culture and history,' Amazon Prime Video says in its publicity.

'All Or Nothing: Juventus will unpack the level of perseverance, the effort and the dedication needed to compete at the very highest level.'

Despite their struggles on the pitch, the players are desperate to succeed.

'I'd go to the moon for my family,' says striker Alvaro Morata. 'And then there's Juve above all else.'
