Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies says Bristol De Mai will deserve to have a race named after him if he can emulate the great Kauto Star and win Saturday’s Betfair Chase at Haydock for a fourth time.

The 10-year-old grey gelding faces stiff opposition from A Plus Tard, last season’s Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up trained by Henry de Bromhead, and Native River, the 2018 Gold Cup winner trained by Colin Tizzard.
