The Dallas Cowboys are having a solid season, but they had to make some adjustments after a 30-16 loss to the Denver Broncos on Nov. 7. There are many different approaches coaches take to help their team bounce back after a loss.

Dallas coach Mike McCarthy? He went with 'Monkey Butt' ahead of the Cowboys' game against the Atlanta Falcons. Now if that leaves you with a lot of questions, no worries.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero explained that the week's theme for America's team was R.A.W. or "Red-Ass Week."

"This past week coming off that ugly performance against Denver, McCarthy dubbed it R.A.W., meaning Red-Ass Week," Pelissero wrote. "In other words, get mad. Take it personally, and then get on the field and take it out on the Falcons.

Here's more on ... Monkey Butt, via NFL.com:

"To reinforce that message, McCarthy actually had staff going around the locker room and handing out 'Monkey Butt' [Anti Monkey Butt]. What is 'Monkey Butt'? I'm glad you asked. It is an anti-chafing powder. It's got a variety of different uses. For instance if you're sore from, I don't know, getting your butt kicked like they did last week? Well, get yourself some 'Monkey Butt'."

Hey, whatever works. NFL.com reported that Dallas players "got a kick of out that" and were more than ready to take on the Falcons.

And wouldn't you know it, McCarthy's tactics worked. The Cowboys went on to to kick some monkey butt and demolish the Falcons, 43-3, to improve to 7-2 on the year. They currently have a comfortable lead in the NFC East.

On Sunday, Dallas will take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
