Before entering any Steelers vs. Bengals picks, you'll want to see the NFL predictions from the advanced computer model at SportsLine. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,300 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters Week 12 of the 2021 season on an incredible 130-91 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Bengals vs. Steelers, the model is picking Pittsburgh to cover the spread. The Bengals have won the last two meetings outright and covered the spread in both games, but lost the previous 11 games and finished just 2-7-2 against the spread during that stretch.

In last week's loss to the Chargers, Pittsburgh rookie running back Najee Harris finished with just 39 yards on 12 carries. He managed to score a touchdown and caught five of the six passes that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sent his way, but the Steelers proved to be one-dimensional on offense. Defensively, Pittsburgh was smoked by Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, who completed 73 percent of his passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns.

Despite the wild 41-37 final score against the Chargers, the Steelers didn't turn the ball over. Meanwhile, the Bengals have turned the ball over nine times in their last six games and their offensive efficiency has gradually decreased during that stretch. The SportsLine model predicts Joe Burrow is the likeliest of the two quarterbacks in the game to throw an interception and the Steelers keep the score within a field goal in well over 50 percent of all simulations.
