The Green Bay Packers return some help on offense this week, as star running back Aaron Jones is officially active for their Week 12 bout with the Los Angeles Rams. Jones was officially listed as questionable heading into Sunday, but NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that he was feeling good all week.

Along with Jones, linebacker Rashan Gary (elbow) and wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) -- who were both questionable as well -- are active. Jones was a limited participant in practice all week, and was said to be a game-time decision for Sunday. The Pro Bowl back suffered what was reported to be a mild MCL sprain in the 17-0 win over the Seattle Seahawks two Sundays ago, and his recovery timetable was set around 1-2 weeks. He sat out of last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but is now ready to roll.

In 10 games played, Jones has rushed 123 times for 541 yards and three touchdowns. He has also caught 37 passes for 298 yards and four more touchdowns. While A.J. Dillon is certainly coming into his own. Jones is a very important facet of this offense, and can take some pressure off of Aaron Rodgers, who is dealing with a fractured toe.

This NFC heavyweight bout is an important matchup, as the Packers and Rams are considered to be two conference contenders. These two teams met last year in the divisional round of the playoffs, where Green Bay registered a 32-18 win to advance to the NFC Championship game for the second year in a row. Sean McVay has a new quarterback in Matthew Stafford, however, and you can bet he's excited to use him in this matchup.
