Adrian Peterson's return to the field with the Titans was short-lived, with the longtime running back playing just three games in Tennessee before his release ahead of Thanksgiving. But the former Pro Bowler could have a new home soon. Just over a week after he was cut, the 36-year-old Peterson is scheduled to visit the Seahawks, as NFL Media's Mike Garafolo reports.

Peterson struggled to get in rhythm during his brief stint with the Titans, totaling just 82 yards and averaging just 3 yards per carry as an emergency fill-in for the injured Derrick Henry. The Seahawks, however, could use any help they can get on offense. Russell Wilson has been inefficient since returning from finger surgery, and he's gotten almost no support from his ground game, with starter Chris Carson out for the season after neck surgery and backups Alex Collins and DeeJay Dallas offering minimal production.

If Peterson signs with Seattle, he'll join his seventh team in six years. The longtime Vikings star, a seven-time All-Pro, three-time rushing champion and one-time NFL MVP, last owned a prominent role in 2020, when he started 10 games for the Lions alongside D'Andre Swift. Prior to that, the former first-round pick spent two seasons in Washington, starting all but one game there; and split 2017 between the Saints and Cardinals.
