They will include four-time champion jump jockey Richard Johnson as Dunne’s legal team begin their defence. Johnson was referenced during the first three days of the hearing last week when the independent panel heard that, along with former jockey and valet Chris Maude, he had been involved in a failed attempt to get Frost and Dunne — who denies the bullying claims — to sort out their differences in a meeting at Kempton in February. During her evidence, Frost alleged that Dunne threatened to hurt her and put her through the wing of a fence to teach her a lesson after he blamed her for the fatal fall of his mount Cillian’s Well at Southwell in September 2020. However, concerns over Frost’s riding style raised among her colleagues look likely to be aired this week as part of Dunne’s defence. Dunne’s barrister Roderick Moore cited Sheehan saying: ‘On occasion Miss Frost does silly things and doesn’t care about the other jockeys in the race.’ The panel also heard from Scudamore’s statement in which he said: ‘I have on occasions experienced problems with what I would describe as her lack of respect for other riders.’ Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site (dailymail) and under his responsibility
