AFCON is fast approaching and excitement is growing as some of football's biggest names arrive in Cameroon for the start of the tournament. 

A whole host of Premier League players will be hoping to make their mark on the competition, including Mohamed Salah, Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane, and Senegal are the current favourites to lift the trophy in February.

Sportsmail has recruited Cameroon, Chelsea and Newcastle legend Geremi as our AFCON expert, and here he gives his thoughts on the Blues' title chances, Romelu Lukaku's explosive interview and John Terry the manager.

There was nobody more surprised by Romelu Lukaku's bombshell interview than me. 

Chelsea were placed in a very tricky position after he spoke of his frustrations at Stamford Bridge, as well as saying that he wishes to return to Inter one day.

From an outside point of view, there is a clear contradiction between the words that Lukaku has said and his attitude. His body language, to me, seems far removed from the comments he made last week.

I watched the last game against Tottenham and I felt his attitude was magnificent. Thomas Tuchel really cannot have any complaints about the Belgian's approach to the game because he always gives 100 per cent.

That is what you can expect from Lukaku, so when I saw the news of his interview it took me by surprise.
