Each week throughout the 2021-22 season, Sportsmail will bring you a Power Rankings table, listing the top-10 hottest players in the Premier League.
As the stories of the season unravel, the rankings will provide a form guide with players moving in and out of the top 10 depending on both their performances in the previous fixtures and also in recent weeks.
Matchweek 22 brought more drama and plenty of goals again.
League leaders Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 to continue their march towards a successful defence of the title. Meanwhile Everton sacked Rafael Benitez after they lost 2-1 at Norwich City.
With all of that in mind, how do Sportsmail's latest batch of Power Rankings look? Due to the Africa Cup of Nations ongoing and three games cancelled due to Covid, we've had to adjust our Power Rankings to remove any players impacted.

The last time we saw Mateo Kovacic in the Premier League he scored a stunner against Liverpool in a pulsating 2-2 draw.
Cup competitions have since dominated Chelsea's landscape but upon returning to top-flight action they had the toughest tests in travelling to Manchester City on Saturday.
The 1-0 defeat was a disappointing result and while Kovacic didn't have the best of games he did set up Romelu Lukaku with a golden chance to score - but the Belgian squandered it.
Having been fifth in our last Power Rankings, he's just done enough to remain in the top 10... for now.

For all of Newcastle's newly-inherited riches, Allan Saint-Maximin is still their talisman.
If Eddie Howe's side are to avoid relegation then they will need moments of magic from their silky France forward - as demonstrated on Saturday in the 1-1 draw against Watford.
His goal to break the deadlock was a thing of sheer beauty - beating two players before cutting inside another to then fire home.
Saint-Maximin now has five goals and three assists this season in the Premier League. Newcastle will need more of that to retain their top-flight status.

Philippe Coutinho's return to the Premier League made headlines last week and the Brazilian playmaker has already made an instant impact.
Aston Villa's acquisition of the Barcelona player on loan was seen as a real coup and he demonstrated why during the 2-2 draw against Manchester United.
Trailing 2-0 at home, Steven Gerrard brought on Coutinho on 68 minutes for his debut. Nine minutes later he had provided an assist for Jacob Ramsey to pull one back. Four minutes after that he had scored the equaliser which earned the hosts a point.
Not a bad introduction to life in the Midlands.

From one Brazilian new entry to another now as Liverpool's Fabinho is in at No 7.
The 28-year-old is often left in the shadows of the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane but with those two away at AFCON, it was he who stepped up to the plate against Brentford.
It was his header just before half-time which set the platform for a 3-0 win against Thomas Frank's side and he also helped shield the defence from midfield as they kept a clean sheet to move up to second in the table.
