Karim Benzema was one of several top players to not be named in FIFA's team of the year and his agent wasted little time in showing his dismay at the snub.
The 34-year-old has been in blistering form this season, scoring 24 goals at the halfway stage of the campaign to fire Real to the top of LaLiga and to glory in the Spanish Super Cup last weekend.
But he was not named in the FIFPRO World 11, even though four forwards were named in the team.
