NFL DFS, Divisional Round: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks for 2022 NFL playoffs

San Francisco running back Elijah Mitchell missed most of December with an injury, but he has returned with three strong performances. Mitchell has rushed for at least 85 yards in all three games, including a 96-yard day against Dallas during Wild Card Weekend. He also scored a touchdown and carried the ball a season-high 27 times, which bodes well for NFL DFS lineups moving forward. Should Mitchell be part of your NFL DFS strategy this weekend in the 2022 NFL playoffs?

Mitchell was out for San Francisco's game against Green Bay in September. but the Packers finished the regular season No. 11 against the run, allowing 109.1 yards per game. Before making your NFL DFS picks for the divisional round, be sure to check out the NFL DFS advice, strategy and projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with almost $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1 percent in more than a dozen other tournaments last season.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NFL DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the divisional round and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for 2022 NFL playoffs divisional round

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for the divisional round is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce ($6,500 on DraftKings and $8,200 on FanDuel). There is no question who the best remaining tight end in the NFL playoffs 2022 is. Kelce finished second to Baltimore's Mark Andrews in receiving yards among tight ends, catching 92 passes for 1,125 yards and nine touchdowns. He added another strong outing last week, finishing with five receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City's 42-21 win over Pittsburgh.

Buffalo's high-powered offense is expected to put up points against Kansas City's below-average defense, which means the Chiefs will have to air the ball out to stay in the game. Kelce is one of Patrick Mahomes' top targets and should have another strong performance on Sunday.

Another part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy includes rostering Rams receiver Cooper Kupp ($8,600 on DraftKings and $9,500 on FanDuel). The NFL's leading receiver has 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns, making him the obvious No. 1 receiver off the board in next season's Fantasy football drafts. Kupp caught five passes for 61 yards against Arizona last week, but salvaged his day with a touchdown reception. He went over 100 receiving yards in five of his final six regular season games.

Kupp's Wild Card Weekend performance was hindered by the blowout nature of the game, but Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay in the NFL playoffs 2022 should be more competitive. The Buccaneers have not been stout against the pass this season and were ranked No. 21 in pass defense.

How to set NFL DFS lineups

McClure is also targeting an undervalued player who is set to explode for huge numbers this weekend. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
