Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on Fabio Carvalho, the Portuguese attacking midfielder who has helped propel Fulham's insatiable scoring run.
Carvalho, 19, scored two goals and made another in the Championship leaders' 6-2 drubbing of Birmingham City on Tuesday and was also on target in their win by the same scoreline away to Bristol City last Saturday.
The Portuguese, who was born in Lisbon but came through Fulham's academy after moving to London aged 11, has scored seven league goals this season and has caught the attention of clubs including Barcelona and Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are reported to be showing keen interest in the Portuguese teenager
Liverpool have shown the keenest interest, according to a report in The Athletic, with the Merseysiders producing 'glowing' scouting reports on the teenager.
And Jurgen Klopp's side could prise the youngster from Fulham for a princely sum as he is down to the final five months of his contract at Craven Cottage.
However, Carvalho is reported to not yet have a traditional agent and is represented by his family, which could potentially put the brakes on an imminent move to Anfield.
Fulham are also desperate to keep hold of the prodigy for a little longer, both so they can continue to profit from his attacking play as they bid to make a quick return to the Premier League.
They also want to sign him to a longer contract in the hope they could make more money from selling him to a bigger club later down the line.
The west Londoners are still feeling raw from losing starlet Harvey Elliot to Liverpool in 2019, earning only £1.7million for the move after a tribunal.
