Emmanuel Adebayor believes there is no way back for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal after the striker was frozen out following his latest disciplinary breach.

Sportsmail has revealed the frontman is free to leave the club this month, having fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta, and there is interest from several clubs.

As a result, it appears that Aubameyang's career at the Emirates is over - a suggestion Adebayor, a former Arsenal ace himself, has revealed he agrees with.

'I know he's going through a lot, because that's Arsenal for you,' he said.

'They never knew how to forgive, so I know he went through a lot. He's a fantastic player, I wish him all the best - I've sent him a message already.

'We just want him to bounce back. Whether we like it or not, he's an African brother and we want him to keep representing Africa the way he was doing before.'
