Sharks fullback William Kennedy became the second NRL player to be sent off in as many weeks when he was given his marching orders just 17 minutes into the clash against the Warriors.

Kennedy smashed into Reece Walsh with his left forearm outstretched, as the Warriors young gun looked to evade a tackle. 

'The legs went from under him [Walsh] and that is just the old fashioned coathanger,' rugby league great Greg Alexander said on Fox League.
