Barcelona will listen to offers for all but six of their current first team players, say reports, as the club looks to bolster its liquidity ahead of a busy summer at the club.

Despite Xavi Hernandez overseeing something of a resurgence at the club this season, Barcelona's financial plight remains perilous and with new signings needed to continue his revolution most players are considered expendable.

According to Goal, all but Ansu Fati, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Eric Garcia, Gavi and Ferran Torres will have the club at least sit down to discuss a potential deal.

It is believed that Barcelona's total debt still amounts to around £1.2bn, with the club's losses totalling around £410m for the 2020/21 season alone.

The club also exceeded its salary limit by around £122m, with the club therefore unable to sign players under LaLiga's 25 per cent rule. I.e., for every four million saved, one million can be used to sign players.

Reports state that all of this amounts to the growing need for the club to sell assets, despite the Catalan side trying to push through deals that they hope will alleviate some of the financial strain still being very firmly pressed down on the club at this time.
