Gael Clichy was soaked by a pint of beer thrown from the crowd and Martin Tyler was jeered at an event to celebrate 10 years since Manchester City's dramatic first Premier League title win.

Several stars from the City side that snatched the championship from Manchester United's grasp thanks to Sergio Aguero's 94th-minute goal were present at a celebratory evening hosted by the club.

But one overzealous fan in the crowd of 2,000 at the Mayfield Depot apparently chucked a drink onto the stage which hit Clichy.

And according to the Manchester Evening News coverage of the event, Sky Sports commentator Tyler, who provided such a memorable soundtrack for television viewers of City's title win, was booed when introduced on stage.
