Gorden Tallis criticised Anthony Milford for suggesting he owed nothing to the Broncos and had to be grateful to Newcastle ahead of his NRL return on Thursday night.
The Samoa international was picked up by the Knights in April after being released by Brisbane at the end of last season and played his first game of the season in a 36-12 defeat against his former club.
The halfback had initially agreed a one-year deal with South Sydney, which collapsed due to assault charges being laid against him for an alleged incident in Brisbane last September.

The NRL refused to register Milford's one-year deal with the Rabbitohs due to the charges, but gave the Knights the green light to sign the five-eight last month.
