Tempers flared at Marvel Stadium on Friday night as Sydney veteran Josh Kennedy appeared to injure himself after crashing into Carlton defender Sam Docherty.
Kennedy collected Docherty high and late as the latter took a mark with four minutes left in the second term. The brutal hit left Docherty worse for wear and sparked a melee, which briefly involved several players from both teams.
Kennedy didn't come out of it unscathed either, as he immediately clutched his right hamstring
