The Eels halfback kicked a 78th-minute conversion from the sidelines at a rain-soaked CommBank Stadium as Parramatta bounced back at the first time of asking after their 31-24 loss against the Roosters in Magic Round. Moses' night had been far more disappointing up until then, with the 27-year-old sinbinned just before halftime for a professional foul on Manly star fullback and reigning Dally M medalist Tom Trbjoevic. Mitchell Moses kicked a 78th-minute conversion as Parramatta beat Manly 22-20 The Sea Eagles made their numerical superiority count, with Morgan Harper crossing to give them an 18-10 lead three minutes after the break. The tables turned seven minutes from time, when it was Manly forward Sean Keppie's turn to be yellow carded. The Sea Eagles, who lost Trbjoevic to a dislocated shoulder, led 20-16 at the time but could not hang on as Willie Penisini scored in the corner to level the scores with two minutes left. Moses still had it all to do, but he nailed the conversion to give the Eels their seventh win in 11 rounds. The Eels halfback made no mistake as he nailed his kick from the right sideline Moses was sin-binned at the end of first half for a professional foul on Tom Trbojevic Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles remained ninth after a fourth defeat in the last five rounds and Hasler was clearly unhappy with referee Ben Cummins. Manly had three players placed on report, including winger Christian Tuipulotu, who looked to have made a try saving tackle to prevent Parramatta's Hayze Perham from scoring in the corner minutes from the end. Tuipulotu wasn't initially penalised, before the bunker intervened to reverse the decision and award the Eels a fresh set of six, from which Parramatta scored. 'It wasn’t high. It was a good tackle. It’s a brave tackle. It was a try-saver,' Hasler said of the tackle after the game. 'It was a great play. It just sort of adds to the disappointment [of the night]. A couple of stupid penalties we gave away, but there were also a couple of dubious call [that went against us].'
