Real Madrid president Florentino Perez entered the dressing room after the Liga champions' final game of the season to tell their players that Kylian Mbappe will not be joining them, according to a report.
The Champions League finalists failed with a final bid of £154million for the Ligue 1 top scorer at the end of the last summer transfer window, leading to a season of speculation that Mbappe would move to Madrid when his contract expires this summer.
Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, said on Friday that the 23-year-old had concluded discussions with both clubs over 'almost identical' offers.
