The Tigers lost 44-18 at Accor Stadium, a defeat which left them languishing in 15th place on the NRL ladder with three wins and nine losses in 12 rounds. According to the Daily Telegraph, the heavy defeat has brought renewed scrutiny on Maguire and the club's board has ordered an immediate review of the team before the Tigers' next game on June 12. Michael Maguire is under pressure to hold onto his job at the Wests Tigers 'You could say it's going to be an internal good look at ourselves,' Wests football chief Tim Sheens Sheens told the paper. 'We have the break with the bye and it's a time for us to stop and reflect on our position. Obviously the coaching will be part of that. I'll be talking to the coach. 'The recommendations will come from there. I'm not saying either way. 'The coaching is one aspect of the review.' Wests lost 44-18 against the Rabbitohs on Saturday and are 15th on the NRL ladder The club will conduct an immediate review of the team ahead of the Tigers' next game Currently halfway through his fourth campaign with the Tigers, Maguire's job first came under threat after Wests got off to their worst start in history earlier this season, losing their first five games for the first time since entering the competition. Dramatic back-to-back wins by a single point against Parramatta and the Rabbitohs momentarily relieved the pressure on Maguire, before Wests slumped to three straight losses. A win against the hapless Bulldogs last week provided a much-needed boost, but the feel-good factor swiftly evaporated with the loss against Souths. Wests' football chief Tim Sheens insists the club are fully behind Maguire The Tigers led Souths 18-12 at halftime, but for the third time this season they were kept scoreless in the second half. In his three seasons at the helm, Maguire has led the Tigers to a ninth, 11th and 13th-place finishes and Sheen told the Daily Telegraph the club hadn't considered a coaching change. 'We haven't even gone there,' the four-time premiership-winning coach said. 'I'll be making a recommendation to the board but it's their decision.'
