Manchester United are reported to be waiting in the wings to enter the race for Robert Lewandowski should his move to Barcelona collapse.

Lewandowski has confirmed he wishes to depart Bayern Munich this summer, with the Catalan giants believed to have identified the Poland striker as their primary summer target. 

Barcelona remain Lewandowski's ideal destination, but their financial position remains precarious and as such, The Sun report, Manchester United are monitoring the situation.
