Henry Arundell is set to make his England debut at Twickenham on Sunday, as the national team square up to a powerful, French-flavoured Barbarians side before their summer tour of Australia.

London Irish’s teenage full back has emerged as the sensation of the season, on the back of his eye-catching exploits for his club and England Under 20s. A length-of-the-field try against Toulon brought him to wider prominence and now his fast-track rise is set to continue.

Head coach Eddie Jones is due to confirm his line-up at lunchtime on Friday for the non-cap match with the Barbarians and Sportsmail understands that Arundell is destined to feature in the matchday 23.
