Michelle Jenneke has made a sensational return to athletics after spending three years on the sideline with serious back and ankle injuries that threatened to end her career prematurely.
The model-athlete, who gained an international following with her famous pre-race dance, has booked her place in Australia's 85-strong Commonwealth Games team travelling to Birmingham in July.
Jenneke came in second in the 100m hurdles at both the Music City Track Carnival in Nashville and the Oceania Athletics Championships in Queensland earlier this month.
Those performances, which include a season best time of 12.95 seconds in Mackay, helped secure her place at the upcoming Games in Birmingham to be held next month.
'This one is special. To be back representing my country after a few years of injury is honestly pretty unbelievable,' the 29-year-old posted to Twitter.
