Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba will be the first two names through the door for Juventus this summer but they will not be the last.

Massimiliano Allegri is a lover of casinos and he had prophesied prior to the end of the season that it would be a summer of few incomings at Juventus.

As always with Allegri, he loves bluffing and leading the media down a garden path away from the scent of the true business of the Bianconeri.

Under the sensible tutelage of CEO Maurizio Arrivabene, the club's difficult financial position - owing to Covid and other factors - has been resolved and they are now in a much healthier position to be able to spend money this summer.

A key factor in the Italian giants being able to spend this summer is their offloading of unwanted stars who did not fit the tactical or technical mould laid out by head coach Allegri.

Players such as Merih Demiral, sold to Atalanta this summer for around £17m, has provided the club with wiggle room in the market.

Leandro Paredes in, Aaron Ramsey out

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have begun their further pursuit of players beyond Di Maria and Pogba and are now ready to take advantage of the restructuring at Paris Saint Germain, expected after Kylian Mbappe signed football's most lucrative ever contract.

Paredes, who saw his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino lose his job earlier in the summer, is one of those players that is likely to be available.

The Parisian club is expected to try and follow a policy of tapping into the rich French market of exciting young players, many of whom are already in PSG's academy.

Much has been written in the last few months about the club's refusal since the Qatari takeover to nurture and bring through much of the talent that it has on its doorstep in the French capital.

The club's failure to once again advance in the Champions League has made it clear to them that a change in thinking is required, and it plans to move away from the model of signing expensive foreign stars.

This could open the door for Allegri's dream of finding a replacement for Miralem Pjanic being realised in the form of Paredes.

Meanwhile, Juventus will officially announce the mutual termination of Aaron Ramsey's contract imminently.

Since moving to Turin in 2019, Ramsey endured a tough spell with Juventus and leaves not having lived up to the standard of player that led to the Old Lady paying him a rumoured £400,000 a week.

The mutual termination of the Welshman's contract should save the club around £6.5m in wages, allowing them to invest that money elsewhere.

Di Maria arrives at Juventus as the new spiritual leader

After weeks of waiting, the Argentine has accepted a contract proposal from Juventus.

It is a year-long deal amounting to £6m after tax in wages, plus an option of a further year depending on the wishes of the Argentine.

It was impossible to convince the player to sign a new two-year deal owing to his age, but the club are not ruling out the former Real Madrid and PSG man staying beyond the initially agreed one year.

Di Maria arrives in Turin with a wealth of experience on his back and as one of the senior players in a Juventus dressing room increasingly littered with younger stars.

It will be part of the job of the Argentine to guide these young players along using his experiences. Allegri hopes his time with Real Madrid and PSG, in particular, will be helpful in aiding the development of the younger members of the squad.

Matthijs de Ligt could leave Serie 'A' to further his career

Should Matthijs de Ligt not extend his Juventus deal beyond 2024, they will sell him to the highest bidder.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the two clubs who appear the most interested in the player as it stands. The west London side, who lost Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger on free transfers earlier this window, are looking to rebuild their squad under manager Thomas Tuchel and the new owners, led by Todd Boehly.

Meanwhile, after his pursuit of Frenkie de
