Former rower Cadeyrn Neville will become Australia's oldest debutant since 1999 in Saturday's series opener against England.
Neville, now 33, previously represented his country in the youth Olympics and once targeted a place at London 2012 in the single sculls.
The veteran lock has been handed a shock start in Perth, where coach Dave Rennie hopes his size and experience will help combat England's set piece.

'From a perseverance point of view, it is a great story,' said Rennie.
'I think Nev got called into a Wallabies squad at the time when Michael Hooper made his debut [in 2012], so that tells you something. Hoops has had 120 caps since then.
'He's headed away, he's an ex rower and that's why he's got such a massive engine. He played a bit of league at one stage. He's had injuries, he's spent a bit of time overseas and he's come back for a final dig.
'He's a great story for the guys out there who might have thought the dream had passed them.'
